I really dislike drinking from plastic and metal. After testing over two dozen different types¸plastic with sport tops, metal with screw tops¸I craved something that would appeal to my taste (literally and aesthetically). Hooray for Lifefactory who have created the perfect glass bottle with a silicone sleeve (so it won¡t break).

Lifefactory is a joint effort between a pediatric feeding specialist and an architect/designer. The result is a Sausalito-based company that produces products that are free of toxins such Bisphenol A (BPA), phthalates, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and polycarbonate. Everything is Dishwasher safe. No chemical or metal taste.

 

Wide mouth makes it easy to add ice, citrus slices and tea bags. Sleeve provides good gripping.
